Highlights

• Sassafraz is among the first commercial properties in Ontario to adopt a “Bio-wall”. A clean-air technology used to filter indoor air through the installation of a vertical wall of living tropical plants.
• Original founder of Bloor-Yorkville IceFest. Conceptualized the Sassafraz Ice Carving Competition in 2000, advocated expanding the event to the Bloor Yorkville BIA. Handed over the concept to promote it to a city wide community initiative in 2005.
